What services can I provide as an associate?

As a Referral Only Associate, you can provide referrals to active agents ANYWHERE in the country! Keep your license active, without any money out of your pocket (except for CE and license updates). You are not paying for Error's and Omissions insurance, MLS dues, Realtor fees, etc.  Thus, this service is designed strictly for those who are not planning to actively practice real estate.  If you are considering a career in real estate, please feel free to contact our sister company, Weichert, REALTORS® - Pillar Northwest, to discuss this further! Scenario 1. Referral to an Preferred Broker

Currently, any Weichert, REALTORS® - Pillar Northwest agent is a preferred agent.  Our referral fee to the referring broker is only 25%.  (We charge you less because part of the cost is covered by a Preferred Broker.)

EXAMPLE  Based on a 20% referral fee from broker

Sale Price:  $350,000

Commission          3%

TOTAL           $10,500

Referral Fee    $2,100

Brokerage          $525

To YOU            $1,575  

Scenario 2. Referral to Outside Broker

Currently, any NON-Weichert, REALTORS® - Pillar Northwest agent is an Outside Broker.  The fee to the referring broker is only 35% to refer to one of these brokers. 

EXAMPLE  Based on a 20% referral fee from broker

Sale Price:  $350,000

Commission          3%

TOTAL           $10,500

Referral Fee    $2100

Brokerage          $735

To YOU            $1,365

Side Note

When the Designated Broker, Lara Germino Dunn and her husband left a major competitor, they had a similar referral brokerage.  However, the company charged 50% referral fees to the referring brokers.  Lara wanted to make a win-win for all.
